On our way to East Bank campground

East Bank campground

On our way to East Bank Campground which in on the east bank of Lake Seminole at the dam which feeds the Apalachicola River. We spend some nights at Harvest Host sites along the way.

Harper Lake, GA where we stopped to hike. There was a small campground here where some sites were flooded.

Another night was spent at Big Mike’s RV Camp.

My nickname for this place is Big Mike’s RV Sink Hole. He said that he would gladly rescue anybody who got stuck. We declined and stayed on the slightly higher ground right next to the gate.

The horse there was very friendly and was happy for an apple snack.

Made it to East Bank and site A11.

Beautiful sunsets, but watch for traffic! This mirror was broken by my shoulder. I was shocked, but only bruised by this driver who was passing us driving into the blinding sunset.

Here we are in site A14 at East Bank. It’s a pull-through in the middle of the loop and was easy to find a level spot.

Holly tree in our campsite.
