From Kanob, we continued north through Panguitch, Salt Lake City and ended up at a rest stop in Malad, ID for the night. We stayed on US89 as long as we could and joined I15 just south of Provo. The smaller roads were much more scenic and easier to drive on. Salt Lake City was the worst traffic we contended with until we reached Chicago.
We took a work break someplace in the Salt Lake City area. It was under a tree at a small strip mall.

End of the day with wine spritzers and candlelight. Who would know that we are at a rest area? We were under a streetlight that continued to feed a small amount of electricity into our solar panels.
