We started our drive across the US at Lake Plesant Regional Park. It is one of our favorite places to visit and hike at while we are in Arizona. We stayed in site D9. We traveled up I17 to Flagstaff then US89 North to Page where we took a work break, and then traveled north to Kanab, UT where we spent the night parked on the street near Kane County Hospital.
There are SO many sights to see along this route that we HAD to re-visit them later by car. The Western US has such beauty that constantly changes as you go along.
