This is Comanche Park Campground near Custer, SD. A bit rustic and my first challenge in getting the rig leveled. To get here we traveled through Billings MT and took US16 here.

May 26, 2021. Leaving Othello, we were heading toward Yellowstone National Park. Spokane, Coer d’Alene, Missoula, Butte were along the way. We discovered this really nice campground along the way!

We stayed 3 nights in Othello before we moved on. We did a little generator maintenance and replaced the chassis battery. This is ‘Q’ the kitty. New set of frying pans. New Chassis battery. Helping grandpa fix a hinge. Farm fresh eggs! A fun time was had by all!

Today we reach our first destination in Othello, WA. Today we take US26 to US395 which will take us to Pendleton, Umatilla, Kennewick, Mesa and finally Othello. Start the day with a great breakfast. I simply love our RV meals! Dump some of the extra weight. And off we go to see more National Forests!…

Today it was Twin Falls, Boise, Onterio and then US26 to Unity lake. This will be the first time we had an electric hookup since Lake Plesant, AZ. We also used the sewer dump here. Ironside, OR Here we are in site 26. Beautiful snowy mountains nearby.

First look at what will become our new motorhome. This is a 1997 Rexhall RexAir with 61,740 miles. Drives like a dream. I love the big windshield.
