Reinforcing the microwave mount

Look carefully at the bottom of the microwave. I added a bar supported by bolts into the wood cabinet to secure the microwave.

I noticed that the microwave was leaning forward and showing signs of movement in relation to the cabinets.

I removed the microwave by pulling the two latches along the bottom rear, and moved the latches to release the microwave from these plates. I thought the plates were coming off, but I found they were solidly mounted.

My solution was to run a threaded bar through the cabinet on each side, I purchased an aluminum bar and painted it black drilled it and mounted it under the microwave to support all of the weight. I also screwed the center of the bar to the bottom of the microwave.
